Update: Police stated on Tuesday, June 22 that detectives were notified that missing person Colette Flores Whiteway was located in Montebello by her family.
Detectives received new information on the description of an at-risk missing person, Colette Flores Whiteway.
The 36-year-old woman was last seen at her residence on Sunday, June 6 at approximately 8:03 p.m., according to LBPD.
Whiteway was reported to have been a runaway from the care facility in which she resides, a statement from LBPD said. She was possibly traveling to an unknown boyfriend’s home.
Whiteway suffers from medical conditions and may become disoriented easily, police said. She was not in possession of her required medication.
Whiteway is described as follows:

- Gender: Female
- Race: Hispanic
- Height: 5’3″ tall
- Weight: 320 pounds
- Date / Time Last Seen: Sunday, June 6, 2021 at approximately 8:03 p.m.
- Location Last Seen: 400 block of West 14th Street, Long Beach, CA
- Hair: Black
- Eyes: Brown
- Clothing: Last seen wearing a purple shirt/sweater.
- Medical Alerts: Suffers from medical condition(s) and may become disoriented.
