Updated: Woman reported missing in Long Beach found

UPDATE: A 40-year-old woman with undisclosed medical conditions who went missing in Long Beach has been found, authorities announced today.

Authorities sought public help on Tuesday, Aug. 31 to find a 40-year-old woman with undisclosed medical conditions who went missing in Long Beach.

Tasha June Merola, who was last seen about 4:15 p.m. Monday in the 4700 block of Sunfield Avenue, “suffers from medical conditions and may become easily disorientated,” according to a Long Beach Police Department statement.

Merola is known to leave her home and frequent area businesses such as McDonald’s restaurants, 99 Cents Only Stores, Petco and the Lakewood Mall area, police said. She previously went missing on Aug. 21 and was found in Lakewood the following day, police said.

Merola is white, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing a pink sweater and gray pants.
