Street basketball players and members of the AND1 Mixtape Tour Escalade (far left), Baby Shack (center) and 8th Wonder (not shown) took a break from the blacktop to stop by and spend time with 16-year-old Juan Segura (right) and the kids of Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach Wednesday, Aug. 22.
The stop was made days before the tour’s final game Saturday aboard the Queen Mary. The players went throughout the hospital, signing autographs for children and teens and taking pictures with patients they visited bedside. The AND1 Mixtape Tour is a street basketball entertainment tour featuring playground players from around the world and the basis of “Streetball,” the ESPN television show documenting the team on and off the court.
