The long-anticipated opening of the 10,000-square-foot Fresh & Easy in Signal Hill took place last Wednesday morning with festivities including a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Signal Hill Chamber of Commerce, a $1,000 donation awarded by Fresh & Easy representatives to the Boys and Girls Club of Long Beach, and presentations of proclamations from the offices of Congresswoman Laura Richardson and Assemblymember Bonnie Lowenthal. The new store is located at 2475 Cherry Ave., across from Home Depot and will be celebrating with five days of giveaways, food samplings, coupons and discounts.
