A 37-year-old woman killed when she crashed her car into a sign in Long Beach was identified Thursday, Dec. 2 by the coroner’s office.
Stephanie Osborne, whose city of residence was unknown, was driving a 2012 Chrysler 300 southbound on Lakewood Boulevard at a little after 9 p.m. Friday, when it crashed into the sign and guardrail for a San Diego (405) Freeway on-ramp, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Police and firefighters were dispatched to the scene, where they saw the Chrysler engulfed in flames. Osborne, the car’s lone occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
