Don & Harold’s Automotive and Evaluation Center in Long Beach was recognized by the AAA Automobile Club of Southern California with a 100-percent score on their annual customer satisfaction survey, further establishing their status as one of the top Approved Auto Repair centers in Long Beach.
The Automotive Club, well known for their certification program for automotive repair facilities, certifies all shops in their program yearly, looking at different aspects of business management, from trained personnel, clean and organized waiting areas for customers to community reputation and proper insurance.
“One of the things that they do, probably one of the most difficult things to score well on is the customer survey,” said Ken Herzog, co-owner of Don & Harold’s. “They look at customers that have been there recently and they call them on the phone, asking them a number of questions on how satisfied they were with the service and they score on their responses.”
While Don & Harold’s has been associated with AAA’s automotive certification program since it first started in the 1980s, this is the first time they have ever received a perfect score in customer satisfaction. Herzog attributes their success to their customer service advisors.
“We have two service advisors that deal with customers on a daily basis and they are primarily who the customer sees when they come in and out, and how well they interact with the customers is probably the most important factor to getting a good score with AAA,” said Herzog. “They handle the whole job of managing the auto repair from beginning to end.
The auto shop ensures that good communication between employees and customers will continue and that they are dedicated to keeping up the quality customer service that earned their award.
