A Long Beach resident has gone missing in the city of Highland and her family is asking for the public’s help in finding her.
51-year-old Say Khim Yin is described as having black hair and brown eyes. She is 4 feet 8 inches to 4 feet 9 inches tall and weighs between 95 to 100 pounds.
According to a bulletin issued by LBPD on Jan. 24, Yin traveled from her home in Long Beach to the San Manuel Casino in Highland on Saturday, Jan. 16. Around 9 p.m. she wandered away from her family and has not been seen since.
According to LBPD, Yin has gone missing under similar circumstances before.
The LBPD bulletin states that Yin may be trying to make her way home to her residence on E 14th Street in Long Beach.
“My family is very worried,” Khim Yin’s daughter Amber Va posted on social media.
According to Va, Yin suffers from schizophrenia and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) but is “very friendly.”
“Please help bring my mom home to us,” Va posted on social media.
