The City of Signal Hill will begin posting information on new social media pages starting Jan. 31 in an effort to reach more residents.
The City of Signal Hill, Signal Hill Community Services Department and Signal Hill Police Department (SHPD) are all joining Instagram.
The City will also create a new Twitter account. Previously, SHPD was the only City department on Twitter (@SignalHill_PD).
The City will be sharing relevant news, updates, events, and more on its new and current social media pages.
The Community Services Department will share information related to recreation, special events, youth programs, senior programs, Signal Hill Public Library programs and more on social media.
SHPD’s social media posts will share information related to public safety, community engagement and job opportunities.
The City of Signal Hill, the Signal Hill Police Department and the Community Services will begin posting on the following social media pages beginning Jan. 31, 2022:
