The Signal Hill Police Department arrested one suspect on Sunday, Jan. 30 after a strong arm robbery occurred at the Home Depot located in Towne Center East in Signal Hill.
According to the California Penal Code, strong arm robbery is defined as taking property that belongs to someone else using physical force.
An employee of the store was identified as a victim.
The suspect is described as an adult female.
According to Operations Lieutenant Kelli Crigler, the suspect fled the shopping plaza in a vehicle. She was later pulled over by a SHPD officer and arrested for robbery and other theft-related charges.
