Update: Long Beach mom lost in Highland makes it back home

A Long Beach resident who went missing in Highland last month was found in Long Beach unharmed.

On Wednesday, Feb. 9, 51-year-old Say Khim Yin’s family told the Signal Tribune she was found behind a Cambodian temple in Long Beach.

According to a bulletin issued by the Long Beach Police Department on Jan. 24, Yin traveled from her home in Long Beach to the San Manuel Casino in Highland on Saturday, Jan. 16. Around 9 p.m. she wandered away from her family and could not be located.

According to LBPD, Yin suffers from mental health issues and has gone missing under similar circumstances before.
