A total of 100 needy families from Signal Hill and Alvarado elementary schools in Signal Hill will be enjoying a Thanksgiving meal this coming holiday thanks to the altruism of American University of Health Sciences (AUHS) and Pastor Gregory Johnson.Â
The staff, students and faculty of AUHS are donating canned and packaged goods together with a monetary donation from Johnson, chair of the Governing Board of AUHS and pastor of A Church of Love, 2094 Cherry Ave., in order to provide a turkey and all the fixings for families that otherwise may not have had the opportunity to enjoy this traditional American holiday feast.Â
