The City of Signal Hill will hold a series of six free concerts in Signal Hill Park in July and August.
The concerts will take place on the following Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.:
- July 6 – The Rosaries, a ‘50s cover band, will be performing well-known songs from the past
- July 13 – The Boys of Summer will be performing an Eagles tribute show
- July 20 – Knyght Ryder will be performing a variety of hits from the ‘80s
- July 27 – Britain’s Finest will be performing a Beatles tribute show
- August 3 – The Brobots will be performing high-energy rock-n-roll party music
- August 10 – Soul3Sixty will be playing a selection of pop and soul from the 60s’
The Signal Hill Diversity Coalition Committee has also organized cultural presentations which will take place from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. before the concerts begin. Performances include groups such as JD Dance Company and the Spanish Latin band Revenante.
Residents are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, picnic-style dinners and friends.
Signal Hill Park is located at 2175 Cherry Ave, adjacent to Signal Hill City Hall and across from Hilltop Park.
