16-year-old Jorjia Maylynn Bennett has been missing since May 21.
The Long Beach Police Department said Bennett was last seen walking away from her home near the 2100 block of Fidler Avenue.
Through a preliminary investigation, LBPD detectives discovered that Bennett has been in contact with her family and may currently be somewhere around the areas of Bellflower and Los Alamitos.
According to the California Department of Justice, Bennett was last seen wearing a short sleeve cheetah-print shirt and brown pants.
Bennett is described as caucasian with blue eyes and red hair. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. Bennett also has a round brown birthmark on one of her calves.
