Disney’s production of cultural sensation “High School Musical,” entitled High School Musical: The Ice Tour is coming to the Long Beach Arena Saturday, Oct. 6 with a weekend-long stop and shows at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, and Sunday shows at noon, 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The show is a presentation of Feld Entertainment, and Kenny Ortega and will feature a live fusion of songs and dance to celebrate the music of the original Emmy Award-winning Disney Channel movie and its sequel, “High School Musical 2.”
“The addition of a fourth show is a clear indication of the popularity of Disney’s High School Musical: The Ice Tour,” said Dan Spellens, Director of Theatres and Entertainment at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. “Disney and Feld Entertainment are leaders in providing quality family entertainment and we are proud to welcome this tour to Long Beach.”
“High School Musical” premiered in January 2006 and its soundtrack was the number-one album of that year, breaking records on the Billboard charts with an unprecedented nine original songs making the “Hot 100.” It was also the number-one television movie on DVD for the same year. Its book, High School Musical–The Novel, has sold over 1.2 million copies.

The Arena Box Office is located at 300 East Ocean Boulevard and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
