Saturday, December 25
Assault
1:30am – Atlantic Avenue & Pacific Coast Hwy.
Two male adults fought, resulting in one of the males sustaining a minor injury. The suspect fled the area before the police arrived. The victim was treated at the hospital.
Sunday, December 26
Felony Suspects Arrested
9:00pm – 1800 block of Henderson Avenue
Patrol officers located a stolen vehicle and safely took the male adult driver into custody. The female passenger had two outstanding felony warrants and was also arrested without incident.
Monday, December 27
Attempted Suicide
9:00pm – LA Riverbed
Long Beach PD and Long Beach FD responded to the LA riverbed regarding an unidentified subject who was on fire. The fire was extinguished and the subject was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Detectives are investigating the situation as a possible suicide attempt.
Tuesday, December 28
Hit Shooting
6:30pm – 21st Street & Pasadena Avenue
Long Beach Police responded to a report of shots being fired in the area of 21st St. and Pasadena Ave. Upon their arrival officers located a male adult subject suffering from a gunshot wound. Long Beach FD responded and transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
Hit Shooting & Attempted Robbery
9:30pm – 21st Street & Atlantic Avenue
Unknown suspects approached a male victim as he was walking in the area of 21st St. and Atlantic Ave. The suspects produced a handgun demanding the victim’s property. The victim struggled with the suspects and was shot while doing so. Long Beach FD responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
