The Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) will be offering supervised youth and teen recreation programs during the upcoming winter school break.
The Winter Fun Days Program will offer youth ages 5 through 12 years old the chance to participate in free games, crafts and sports as well as take part in field trips and holiday celebrations.
During these programs, kids can come and go at their own discretion and PRM staff will be on-site to lead various activities.
The program will operate from Dec. 27 through Dec. 30 and Jan. 3 through Jan. 6 from noon to 5 p.m. at several parks throughout the city.

- Heartwell Park, 5801 E. Parkcrest (Wardlow Park youth programs will be offered here due to ongoing construction.)
- Houghton Park, 6201 Myrtle Ave.
- MacArthur Park, 1321 Anaheim St.
- McBride Park, 1550 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave.
- Martin Luther King Jr. Park,1950 Lemon Ave.
- Orizaba Park, 1435 Orizaba Ave.
- Pan American Park, 5157 Centralia St.
- Ramona Park, 3301 E. 65th St.
- Scherer Park, 4600 Long Beach Blvd.
- Seaside Park, 14th Street at Chestnut Avenue
- Silverado Park, 1545 W. 31st St.
- Somerset Park, 1500 E. Carson St.

Teens can participate in recreational activities at the following Teen Center locations:

Onsite registration is required for all kids and teens who plan to participate.
