When   Through the month of April, with a kick-off event on Saturday, April 2 at 2pm
Where   The kick-off will take place at Dana Branch Library, 3680 Atlantic Ave., where seven-year-old Jonas Corona, the “Love in the Mirror” organization founder, will speak about homelessness in Long Beach.
More Info  The Long Beach Public Library and “Love In the Mirror” are joining up for a second year to collect personal hygiene items for homeless youth in Long Beach. Donations of shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other personal hygiene items may be dropped off at any of the 12 Long Beach Public Library locations during open hours in the month of April. Full-size and travel-size items are accepted. Visit any Long Beach Public Library or see the “Events and Classes” section of the library’s website at lbpl.org.
