On Thursday, July 20, the Long Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau hosted Party at the Cove, an event that celebrated new additions to Long Beach. The Cove, an indoor and outdoor mezzanine that will be home to exclusive events and private bookings, is located near the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. The event also spotlighted updates on the Rainbow Bridge, the groundbreaking of the Sonata Modern Flats— a new mixed-use complex— and the completion of art during Pow! Wow! week. Mayor Robert Garcia and other councilmembers were present and gave remarks during the festivities.
