Actor Erik Estrada joins Signal Hill Police Foundation for ceremony

The event included remarks about the achievements the foundation made within its first year of existence, as well as awards for members of the Signal Hill Police Department.
Actor Erik Estrada of the TV show CHIPS assisted newly appointed Signal Hill Police Chief Christopher Nunley in awarding Police Volunteer of the Year, Professional Employee of the Year, Police Officer of the Year, Award of Excellence, Meritorious Conduct Medal-Gold, Medal of Valor and the Purple Heart Medal.
The event took place at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Long Beach.
