More Info The first-time homebuyer event will help attendees learn how to improve their chances of getting their offer accepted and supply access to down-payment and closing-cost assistance. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Translators will be available with 48-hour notice. The class qualifies as the HUD eight-hour, pre-purchase homebuyer education. Attendees who complete the training will receive a “HUD-Approved Homebuyer Workshop” certificate. The fee is $50 or $25 along with $25 worth of canned food or travel-size toiletries.
