More Info Ecologists will lead a nature walk of the Los Cerritos Wetlands, where many raptors live and hunt. Participants might see red-tailed hawks, cooper’s hawks and ospreys. Kingfishers, egrets, owls and hummingbirds also reside in the wetlands. The walk is appropriate for ages 7 and up, and closed-toe shoes are required. Pre-hike snacks will be provided by Whole Foods Market, Long Beach.
