The indoor pool at the Belmont Plaza will be closed for up to four months while necessary repairs are made. Indoor swimming lessons and water exercise classes have been cancelled, but the heated outdoor pool is still open for lap swimming. Locker rooms and the weight room will also be available during outdoor pool hours (Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7am-2pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30am-2pm, and Saturday from 8am-2pm). Admission prices are $4 for adults and $3 for youth and seniors.
Extended pool hours and additional aquatic programming will be available beginning January 2012 at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Pool (1.usa.gov/sKrsil), 1910 Lemon Ave., and Silverado Park Pool (1.usa.gov/tdlwHV), 1450 W. 32nd St., during the Belmont Plaza Indoor Pool closure.
