Book-turned-exhibit to open on Atlantic Avenue

The exhibit, which will be on display through Nov. 6, will bring to life the transformation of a mud flat into one of the greenest and most modern ports, according to HSLB.
The exhibit is the companion to a new book, Port Town, which tells the story of how the people of Long Beach built, defended and profited from their harbor.
Port Town authors George and Carmela Cunningham will be signing limited edition copies of the book for $45 on the grand opening Aug. 7.
The exhibition hours through November will be: 1pm to 5pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays; 1pm to 7pm on Thursdays; and 11am to 5pm Saturdays.
