Cabrillo Marine Aquarium to host a different kind of egg hunt

Preschool children are invited to Cabrillo Marine Aquarium’s “Tales Between the Tides: Eggs Along the Shore” workshop Saturday, April 11 from 10am to 11:30am. Children may be dropped off or accompanied by an adult. The fee is $15 ($14 for Friends members) and reservations are recommended.
Activities include learning about the wide variety of eggs along the shore and the animals that hatch them. The workshop includes a snack, stories, and an arts-and-crafts project to make and take home.
Also available to visit are the aquarium exhibit hall, exploration center, aquatic nursery, Virginia Reid Moore Marine Research Library and touch tank to observe local marine life.
The aquarium is open weekends from 10am to 5pm and Tuesday through Friday from noon to 5pm. It is located at 3720 Stephen M. White Drive in San Pedro and is a facility of the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.
