Century 21 Landmark’s fundraiser raffles off bikes for breast cancer

century21-bike.jpgLAX security officer and Century 21 Landmark client Peter Trance (center) received a blue and white Electra Beach Cruiser bicycle after winning a raffle sponsored by Century 21 Landmark agents. The bike was decorated with pink ribbon in honor of the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, a national fundraising event for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
The team, named “How to Save a Life,” consists of Landmark owner Helen Fasnacht (far left), and fellow agents Rose Melvin, Susan Van Wig, Barbara Brodeur, and team captain Allison Van Wig.
Trance learned of the team and the raffle when agent Nancy Abbot gave him and 19 other former clients a ticket to assist in their $2,200 per walker requirement to participate in the 60-mile walk.
The team is currently training for their walk in November and is accepting donations.
