This year’s “Alice in Winterland” -themed Chill event at the Queen Mary reimagines Lewis Carroll’s classic with sculpted, colorful “lanterns.“” captionposition=”bottom-left” lightbox=”off” floater=”on” floaterposition=”left” floaterdirection=”none”] [aesop_character name=”Cory Bilicko” caption=”Managing Editor” align=”left” force_circle=”off”] With its “Alice in Winterland” theme, the Chill event at the Queen Mary reimagines Lewis Carroll’s well known classic with an interactive 14,000-square-foot spectacle made of sculpted, colorful “lanterns” that are, of course, larger-than-life.

The enticing structures that can be walked— or crawled— through include the Hall of Doors, the White Rabbit’s Kitchen, the Mad Hatter’s Workshop, the Tea Party and the Hedge Maze.
Impressively costumed actors embody the roles of various characters and move through the mazes, interacting with attendees, adding a bit of unpredictable fun to the world down the rabbit hole.
Chill also features live entertainment, ice skating, carnival rides and ice tubing, as well as some interesting— and decadent— treats for sale.
