The Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association (BKBIA) will take locals on a walk through the neighborhood on Wednesday, Dec. 22 to view their neighbors’ Christmas lights.
Participants will meet at the Expo Arts Center, located at 4321 Atlantic Ave., at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The walk will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Before the event begins, participants will be offered hot chocolate and other treats.
The event is free to the public and appropriate for all ages.
According to the BKBIA, the walk will follow a 3.88 route through the Bixby Knolls neighborhood before looping back around to the Expo Arts Center.
Maps of the route will be printed and distributed to participants on Wednesday.
Participants are encouraged to dress in warm layers, and to bring a flashlight if they have one.
This event is part of the Bixby Knolls Strollers walking club, which plans weekly hour-long walking tours through the neighborhood. Leashed dogs are welcome on their walks.
