Ninth District Councilmember Steven Neal and 8th District Councilmember Rae Gabelich will host the third North Long Beach Community Assembly on Saturday, Jan. 21 from 10am to noon at the North Long Beach Community Center, 2311 E. South St.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide the community with updates on the latest neighborhood issues and news of what is to come in the year. The assembly is also a platform for neighbors to meet each other, receive neighborhood updates, and discuss the progress of the North Long Beach community.
The assembly will feature presentations from neighborhood associations, Public Works, and an update on the Redevelopment Agency. The event offers the opportunity for residents to engage in conversation with city leaders and staff.
Director of Public Works Mike Conway and Deputy City Attorney Richard Anthony will also be in attendance.
