CSULB seniors use new media to raise funds for literary journal

CSULB seniors Eric Loya and Lauren Stone have decided to utilize their academia experience to begin the speculative fiction literary journal Prospective: A Journal of Speculation. Speculative fiction refers to any work of prose or poetry that breaks the known conventions of reality. Common genres for speculative fiction include historical fiction, fantasy, horror and science fiction.
Loya and Stone are utilizing the website Kickstarter to raise the capital needed to release the first issue of Prospective: a Journal of Speculation. With a deadline of Christmas, they hope to raise $2,500 to cover printing costs.
