Local dignitaries and Signal Hill Chamber of Commerce members joined Steve DeSisto and Anthony Grillo, owners of Rocco’s Deli Italiano, on Monday morning for a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the restaurant’s opening. Located in Signal Hill at 2420 E. 28th St., Rocco’s opened its doors for business last month to begin bringing back the bona fide deli that conjures up the nostalgia of “Mamma’s home cookin’ back in the Bronx.”
