Restauration, a dining destination on 4th Street’s “Retro Row,” will celebrate its one-year anniversary on Wednesday, July 22 by offering a traditional Bluegrass Boil, with all the accompaniments, from 5pm to 10pm.
The Bluegrass Boil will be the only menu offering that evening and is priced at $30 per guest.
Restauration will donate $10 from every reservation made that evening to The Long Beach Depot for Creative Reuse, whose mission is to bring attention to the importance of reducing waste by creative reuse.
“We wanted to celebrate our anniversary with doing something unique menu-wise, but also give back to the community and to a cause that’s particularly important to us,” said Dana Robertson, owner of Restauration. “The Long Beach Depot’s philosophy of creative reuse is something that Restauration also proudly embraces and can be seen throughout the restaurant.”
The two-course Bluegrass Boil will consist of buckets of shrimp, clams, sausage, red potatoes and corn, with a lobster tail being an additional $12.
The Bluegrass Boil is served with baked baguettes with clambake jus and drawn butter, plus a slice of fruit pie. Sangria and beer specials will also be available, with pescatarian food options being on the menu, as well.
Live entertainment will be provided from 6pm to 9pm by a local bluegrass band.
