Ebony Alert issued for 17-year-old who ran away from foster care

17-year-old Rodjanae Harrell has gone missing from foster care and is believed to be in the Long Beach or Los Angeles area.

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a 17-year-old missing person, Rodjanae Harrell. 

Harrell had gone missing in August and was located by Long Beach police on Sept. 12. She was put into the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services but soon ran away again.

Harrell is described as a 17-year-old Black female. She is 5 feet 2 inches, weighs around 130 pounds and has brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a neon green hoodie, black basketball shorts with white stripes on the bottom and black slides. She has no tattoos or prominent scars. 

Harrell is known to frequent Long Beach, Los Angeles and San Bernardino. Anyone with information regarding this missing person is urged to call the LBPD Missing Persons Detail at (562) 570-7246 or Police Dispatch at (562) 435-6711.
