Traffic Accident
6:30am — 710 Freeway at PCH
A wrong way driver on the 710 Freeway caused multiple collisions. Injured parties were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their non-life- threatening injuries. The driver was believed to be impaired.
Traffic Fatality
10:30am — Redondo Avenue and Hill Street
Two vehicles collided in the intersection. One adult male driver was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The other adult male driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of a compound fracture of his leg and other non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the accident appears to have been a right-of-way violation.

Assault
4:00am — Wardlow Road and the Los Angeles Riverbed
An adult female and an adult male were involved in a dispute. Both the male and female subjects struck each other resulting in non-life-threatening injuries to both. The male suspect is not in custody.

Robbery
7:30am — 600 block of Willow Street
Patrol officers were dispatched to a reported robbery. Officers’ investigation revealed that an unknown suspect entered a local business, produced a handgun and robbed the clerk of an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing.
