Chroma Glass Designs, 4242 Atlantic Avenue, will host a reception at 7 p.m. for digital photographer Janice Rene Smith and watercolorist Paula Gibbs.
Four Olives Café, 4276 Atlantic Avenue, will exhibit the works of Mike Schelly with music from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. by The Scarlett and Dr. Bob Finney Jazz Combo.
Clothing boutique L’ Exotique Appeal will present a series of guitar players in 2008, starting with Barry and his guitar group from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Nino’s Italian Restaurant, 3853 Atlantic Avenue, will celebrate the kick-off of its 50th anniversary this Friday with live music from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Call (562) 427-1003 for reservations.
FreeSpirit Yoga, 3910 Atlantic Avenue, will feature multimedia artist Jude Vela Diallo, a self-described sketch artist turned photographer, and local photographer Carolyn Ozimok, who will showcase images covering a variety of different themes.
Richard Goad Theatre, 4250 Atlantic Avenue, will stay open late with a repeat performance of their International Vodka Tasting from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Visitors will also have one last opportunity to view the theatre’s acclaimed fall exhibit of selections from the Polish School of Posters. The theatre will offer advance-purchase discount seats for its upcoming production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which opens Feb. 15.
