Food Finders is helping the hungry by hosting the Autumn Harvest Ball on Saturday, Sept. 8. The ball will take place at the newly renovated Museum of Latin American Art, located at 628 Alamitos Avenue in Long Beach.
Guests attending the event can look forward to enjoying the self-guided tours, appetizers, opportunity drawings, silent and live auctions as well as dancing to the Blue Steel Band, a musical group made up of Long Beach police officers who play at various community events. The festivities are set to begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.
The Autumn Harvest Ball and Food Finders are headed by Director and Founder Arlene Mercer, President Don Cochran, and Treasurer Norena Thompson. A few of the major benefit sponsors for the event are The Boeing Company, Keesel, Young & Logan and Hoffman & Associates.
The cost of attending the Food Finders Autumn Harvest Ball is $75 per person if paid before the event and $100 at the door. Those who wish to reserve a table may pay $750 for a table of 10.
