WomenShelter of Long Beach (WSLB) will host a fundraiser entitled “A Celebration of Lives Changed and Saved” on Saturday, May 16 from 2pm to 6pm at the historic Bixby Mansion, 11 La Linda Dr. Tours will be offered.
Harry Saltzgaver, executive editor for Gazette Newspapers, will be honored for his commitment to WSLB and the community.
The event will include hors d’oeuvres, live music, auction items and a raffle.
The mission of WSLB is to eliminate domestic violence through compassionate intervention, education and self empowerment, according to the organization. Proceeds from the event will support the services WSLB provides to the community.
