Fusion Art exhibit showcases CSULB

domino-affect.jpgThe departments within the College of the Arts at CSULB come together for the first time to present an explosive evening of entertainment in “Fusion.”
“Fusion” takes the college’s diverse arts for a night out on the town on Saturday, March 22 at 6 p.m., offering creations by art, graphic design, dance, music, film and theatre in a single setting. Producer and creator Patricia Garza hopes to see the event inspire collaboration and unity between the disparate departments of the College of the Arts.
“I feel that art in Long Beach and art on campus are so vital to the community’s growth,” said Garza. “There is an urgent need for events happening in both places to be combined to create a more cohesive relationship.”
“Fusion” will be open at no charge on the rooftop of Smooth’s Sports Grille at 144 Pine Avenue in downtown Long Beach. For information, call (562) 985-4500.
