Eighth District Councilmember Rae Gabelich will host a “Community Coffee” on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 10am to noon at Avila’s El Ranchito Restaurant, 5345 Long Beach Blvd.
Gabelich will provide an update on activities taking place in the eighth district and throughout the city. The Long Beach Police Department’s North Division will give a presentation on the new community watch program, and Gabelich will provide free reusable shopping bags to all attendees.
Residents are also invited to discuss any city-related issues or problems with Gabelich and her staff.
