The 2nd City Council Art Gallery + Performance Space (2cc), 435 Alamitos Ave., will host two exhibitions through Sunday, July 24. The gallery will also host a public artists’ reception on Saturday, July 9 from 7pm to 9pm featuring the band Looking for the Signals.
America, a large group exhibition is featured in the main gallery.
The second exhibition explores civil discourse in America. Quotes highlighting different perspectives fill the room, and there is a large scale where attendees can “weigh in” on what they feel are conservative or liberal media sources.
