When was the last time anyone read you a really good story? Remember how worried you were when Alice found the bottle marked, “Drink me?” Or how funny it was when Alice said, “Preposterous! There’s no such thing as a talking caterpillar?”
This summer, go down the rabbit hole with the Long Beach Shakespeare Company, with excellent, professional storytellers in an intimate setting created by artist Brian Koehler, with just the right music for your journey, and join Alice in Wonderland in a dramatic reading complete with lights and sound.
The reading will last four weeks only July 11 through August 2 at the Richard Goad Theatre, located at 4250 Atlantic Avenue in Bixby Knolls, Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Make sure to get your tickets early, before you hear, “No room! No room!”
And don’t forget: Alice in Wonderland is great for the whole family.
