The Community Hospital of Long Beach (CHLB) Auxiliary will be feeling the love as it celebrates its 13th Annual Tree of Love event this Thursday, Dec. 6 from in the hospital’s front plaza. The event is a fundraiser to help benefit the programs and services of CHLB.
From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. guests are welcome to enjoy holiday music and refreshments at the evening’s festivities. Named after the funds donated both in memory and in honor of loved ones, guests of the Tree of Love event will be introduced to hospital administrators and listen to the sounds of the Poly High School jazz ensemble as well as a live choral group. The auxiliary gift shop, located just left of the hospital’s front entrance, will also be open that day from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. for holiday shopping.
