As both immigrants and U.S. citizens are being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents daily, many Long Beach and Signal Hill residents are living in fear.
At this time, it may be dangerous for some people to leave their homes, even for essentials like groceries, medication and other needs. Several Long Beach businesses and nonprofits are offering grocery delivery services or drop-offs of other essentials for these individuals, no questions asked.
