Friday, Dec. 4—Saturday, Dec. 5 at 8pm
Merry-Achi Christmas returns to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts in a colorful and traditional Mexican holiday celebration full of seasonal songs, dance, and festive merriment. Headlining the exciting extravaganza is the nation’s premier Sol de México de José Hernández Mariachi, which is accompanied by America’s first all-female mariachi— Reyna de Los Angeles— and the captivating Grandeza Mexicana Folk Ballet Company.

Get into the holiday spirit with the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra and The Pied Pipers in A Christmas Gift, a festive showcase of seasonal songs and Big Band hits from the ’40s. Enjoy traditional holiday music as well as the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra’s Tangerine, I Understand, and Maria Elena. The Pied Pipers will present the tunes “I’ll Never Smile Again,” “The One I Love Belongs to Somebody Else,” and “There Are Such Things.”

One of the most successful Irish touring acts of the last 20 years, The Irish Tenors thrill old fans and win new ones with their euphoric harmonies, lush orchestration, and unscripted humor. Accompanied by an orchestra, the Celtic music kings will perform their traditional repertoire, Irish favorites, and seasonal classics.

The Naked Eye has rocked the L.A. and Orange County music scenes with a diverse repertoire of original and cover songs that embrace pop, folk, rock, bluegrass, and the blues. The group, which won an Orange County Music Award in the Folk category for That Barstool Song, has attracted a loyal following with its albums Better Than Silence, Speed of Sound, and Along the Way.

Bowfire celebrates the magic of the season with Holiday Heart Strings, a fast-paced theatrical extravaganza filled with virtuoso violinists and fiddlers, incredible tap and step dancers, and gifted singers performing show-stopping hits. As seen on PBS, Bowfire’s ensemble of world-renowned musicians takes audiences on a holiday journey with classic selections such as “Sleigh Ride,” “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” “Silent Night,” “So This Is Christmas,” “The Christmas Song,” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”

The spirited Colors of Christmas extravaganza has dazzled audiences for 16 seasons at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. The yearly celebration returns with two-time Grammy winner Peabo Bryson headlining an impressive lineup, including Grammy winners Sheena Easton and Jennifer Holliday and reggae master Maxi Priest. The entertainers will deliver holiday cheer, seasonal favorites, and pop music.

From “Moon River” to his three-time Emmy-winning televised variety show, the Grammy-winning pop singer Andy Williams has charmed generations with his soothing voice and classic hits, including “Butterfly,” “Can’t Get Used to Losing You,” and “Where Do I Begin?”

Most celebrated for his powerful ballad “God Bless the USA,” Lee Greenwood won a Grammy for I.O.U. and ruled the number-one spot on the country music charts with a long succession of hits that included “Somebody’s Gonna Love You,” “Dixie Road,” “I Don’t Mind the Thorns (If You’re the Rose),” and “Mornin’ Ride.” The singer-songwriter will put his country spin on popular holiday classics.

By popular demand, the festive tradition of Smooth Jazz Christmas returns to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts in a colorful production of seasonal tunes. Get into the Christmas spirit and groove along to holiday favorites performed by smooth jazz’s biggest and brightest names, led by saxophonist Dave Koz. Special guests include trumpet player Rick Braun, guitarist Peter White, pianist David Benoit, and singer Brenda Russell.
