The Kids Theatre Company (TKTC) will present its staged production of Rocky, the story of a small-time boxer from working-class Philadelphia who gets a once-in-a-lifetime chance at the heavyweight title, this weekend at the TKTC Theatre located in the Expo Arts Center, 4321 Atlantic Ave.
Performances will be: Friday, July 17 at 7pm; Saturday, July 18 at 2pm and 7pm; and Sunday, July 19 at 2pm.
TKTC will also present its staged interpretation of the film Zoolander, which tells the story of Derek Zoolander, VH1’s previous three-time male model of the year. When Hansel wins the award instead, Zoolander’s world is turned upside down.
Featuring video montages written and edited by the teen actors, performances will be: Thursday, July 30 at 7pm; Friday, July 31 at 7pm; Saturday, Aug. 1 at 2pm and 7pm; and Sunday, Aug. 2 at 2pm and 6pm.
Tickets will be available at the door at $12 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.
