The Kiwanis Club of Bixby Knolls/North Long Beach will present its annual Kiwanis Karnival during Memorial Day weekend at Houghton Park, located at Atlantic Avenue and Harding Street. The Karnival hours will be: 5pm—11pm Friday, May 22; 2pm—11pm Saturday, May 23; 2pm—11pm Sunday, May 24; and 2pm—10pm Monday, May 25.
The “Friday Night Special” will allow carnival-goers to take advantage of 50-cent rides from 5pm to 8pm.
The Kiwanis Club is offering ride wristbands on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Wristbands cost $18 and give unlimited access to all rides for the day.
The Kiwanis Karnival is a major fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club of Bixby Knolls/North Long Beach. Admission is $1, and children ages 3 and under are free. All proceeds are given directly back to the local community through Long Beach schools, food banks, and other nonprofit organizations.
