The city of Long Beach has released its first Draft Historic Preservation Element for public review. The Draft Historic Preservation Element of the Long Beach General Plan provides a vision for future historic preservation efforts in the community, and outlines the actions that will be taken to achieve that vision. The Cultural Heritage Commission will review the draft on March 8 at 5:30pm in the city’s council chambers, located at 333 W. Ocean Blvd. All members of the public are invited to attend.
