The Long Beach Shakespeare Company is presenting William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet at the Richard Goad Theatre, 4250 Atlantic Ave., in Bixby Knolls, through Sunday, April 1. Uncontrolled passions destroy the lives of children and parents, lovers and fighters in this timeless story of tragic love and death. Set in the late 14th century Italy, this LBSC production is directed by Helen Borgers with an ensemble cast led by Nathan Dean Snyder as Romeo and Summer Blake as Juliet.
Show times are Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm, Sunday matinees at 2pm. General admission tickets are $20 and may be purchased online at lbshakespeare.org. Student tickets are $10, also available online. Tickets may also be purchased at the door, although reservations are recommended.
