Operating hours for the AquaLink and AquaBus water taxis will be expanded to operate seven-day service beginning Saturday, May 23. Friday and Saturday late-evening service will begin Friday, June 26.
Customers can take a ride on the AquaLink and sip a cool beverage while they coast from the downtown harbor to Alamitos Bay Landing. Or, they can easily travel between Long Beach’s waterfront attractions using the AquaBus— a 40-foot boat that stops at these waterfront attractions: the Queen Mary, the Hotel Maya, Catalina Landing, the Aquarium of the Pacific, Pine Avenue Circle, and Shoreline Village.
The price for Long Beach Transit’s unique water taxi services is $1 for the AquaBus and $5 for the AquaLink, each way. More information can be found online at www.lbtransit.com.
Long Beach Transit will also implement its summer service change, effective June 7, resulting in minor impacts to the operating schedules of certain fixed-route services:
â–ª CSULB UPASS Program will continue to be available to CSULB students, faculty and staff, 365 days a year.
â–ª Passports A, D and Routes 91, 92, 93, 94 weekday service has been reduced to accommodate seasonal usage. Passport routes A and D will operate every 15 minutes all day in both directions between Catalina Landing and Belmont Shore and Naples, and routes 91, 92, 93, and 94 will provide service between downtown and CSULB on 7th Street every 12 minutes all day in both directions.
â–ª Routes 7 and 21 will extend to Rosecrans and Garfield. Route 7 will no longer operate on Gundry and San Rafael.
â–ª Routes 1, 7, 21, 22, 45, 46, and 96 will have minor schedule adjustments.
