The Long Beach Water Department is cautioning customers receiving door-to-door calls from a company offering to install a free high-efficiency toilet because of the drought. The company is falsely claiming to represent the City of Long Beach, according to the water department.
The City of Long Beach does not affiliate itself with, nor endorse any contractor, according to Long Beach Water. Customers entering an agreement with the company’s services are doing so at their own risk for quality of service installation and materials.
