Art appreciation
I think it is wonderful what some areas of the country are doing for vets [“Imitating Life: Local veterans find coping mechanism through creative arts,” Feb. 6, 2015]. I live in a very rural area, and there are not any services like this offered here. The closest VA hospital is Marion, Illinois or Indianapolis, Indiana. We do have an office here but nothing as far as programs to help vets. The volunteers are to be commended for all they do for vets.
